Power, drive, showmanship, audience hysteria, you name it, they have it in store. When I look back on this concert , I remember how old I felt, surrounded by screaming teenagers fueled by an incredible energy coming from the stage they kept feeding back to the musicians, generating still more power in an exponential loop. Having lived through Led Zeppelin and Who concerts of 73 and 74 you would think I was immune by 75. Nay ! Basic Blues Rock at its peak, you can’t beat it ; and when the audience essentially consists of hot-blooded southern european teens and it’s the heart of winter, the chances are some heathen celebration is brewing.
