Humanitarian Aid to Gaza has not been easy with Israel blocking off entry into Gaza. Moreover, Humanitarian Aid organizations are not allowed to include typical fuel for stoves on our trucks into Gaza. The World Central Kitchen (WCK) have thus tried to address aid needed in Gaza through designing a solution for their current situation. Since Palestinians in Gaza have run out of fuel to use for cooking, and consequently have turned to using makeshift stoves that burn wood WCK teams worked with engineers and local manufacturers to design a pellet stove which can be distributed instead. The stove uses wooden pellets for clean & efficient cooking to help families make hot meals for themselves and their communities.
