KvS Part 2 - Dark Clouds With no clear winner after the opening salvos, Krush seizes the initiative. The dark sounds heard previously were foreshadowings as the mood and the sky clouds over. Krush dominates the mood and threatens to extinguish any further opposition under his dark weight--crushing with shadows. But Shadow does not cave under the pressure. He transforms, showing his versatility. The dark clouds keep rolling in, but Shadow points out the silver linings. As the pressure mounts, the darkness makes Shadow’s light stand out and shine ever brighter with his spectacular counter-punching. Krush’s all-out assault seems to feed Shadow’s power rather than destroy it. As the first scattered raindrops fall, Shadow embodies transcendental beauty. He declares, “The music is coming through me.“ Krush then shows that the music moves through him, too. He channels the rain and wind, the thunder and lightning that now rocks the scene. The battle between these two DJs has now taken on a singular life
