Researchers from the Human Spaceology Centre at Kyoto University and construction company Kajima Corporation unveiled their plans in a press conference earlier in July. The transportation system, called the “Hexagon Space Track System,” would involve a “space train” that travels between the Earth, the moon, and Mars, stopping at stations on orbiting satellites, as reported by Japanese newspaper The Asahi Shimbun.
