Maryland Governor Larry Hogan says a search is underway for Robert F. Kennedy’s granddaughter, Maeve Kennedy Townsend McKean, and her eight-year-old son Gideon, who are missing after a boating trip. “An intensive search has been underway since late yesterday, which has included teams from the Maryland Natural Resources Police, the Maryland State Police, the United States Coast Guard, and the Anne Arundel Fire Department“. The two were reported missing after canoeing on the Chesapeake Bay near Annapolis.
