TEN YEARS LOST X CLUB ROOM FRIDAYS AT HUM STUDIOS JANUARY 24th, 2024.

Chris Smith aka Ten Years Lost is no stranger to the underground music scene in Glasgow having DJ’d on and off for over ten years now (no pun intended) developing side projects and aliases for his DJ output and creative endeavors such as his Funk/Boogie sets under the name Bop Gun (Go check the Bop Gun Glasgow soundcloud for hours of great 80’s party music) and his early Techno productions under the name Unit Trax. In recent years however he has been more focused on his studio productions as Ten Years Lost which showcases various styles of music including techno all the way through to ambient and more recently modern day rap. In 2020 he successfully launched his own vinyl bootleg series called Mom’s Spaghetti which converts a wide variation of musical influences such as Disco, Boogie and southern rap into muscular dancefloor productions which has received plays and praise from the underground scene including radio and club plays from the likes of Charlie Bones and Ben UFO. He has also enjoyed some recent success releasing tapes and digital EP’s from local acts such as KLEFT and Denny Pally under his two other labels Crash Reserve and Infinite Wisdom. Go check last year’s Infinite Wisdom tape compilation entitled ‘A Thousand Promo Shots Could Never Compare’ which received local praise and charted in the German-based record store HHV’s top 100 tapes of the year list. Expect more Mom’s Spaghetti releases coming up in the future, a Denny Pally full-length LP set for vinyl release next year, and an album worth of solo material on the Jensen Interceptors International Chrome label.
