This song was written by Alan Bergman and Marilyn Bergman and was composed by Rod Temperton. Michael recorded it for the storybook album, E.T. The Extra Terrestrial. It’s a song which tells about true friendship. Sometimes your real friend is like your twin soul, someone who is the other part of you from whom you don’t have nothing to is a song about a real friend, who stands up for you and accepts you as you are and even find beauty in your imperfections. It’s about a person who encourages you and helps you. Its a song about a person who is with you, when you are happy and sad, successful and when you are in your bad days.
