E ora vengono pubblicate in disco in accordo con la Decca. C’è dentro molta scrittura e anche molta improvvisazione. In questo caso è molto indicativo il brano “.” (For four free friends ) (per quattro amici liberi), così come “Fuga nell’Amazzonia in re minore” in cui lo “zoccolo duro” dei miei musicisti si esibisce con me in una session free, (tengo a precisare non free jazz ma semplicemente free) nella quale, dettando io al pianoforte alcune strutture e sequenze improvvisate, i miei musicisti si prodigano a seguirmi e improvvisare con grande perizia e complicità, documentando quanto fossimo in uno stato di grazia particolare. Le sembianze dei vari brani sono di gusto e stile molto variegati e sempre eseguite con convinzione e massima energia. Ho celebrato così con me stesso e con i miei diletti amici suonatori una carissima amicizia e l’orgoglio di un tempo felice vissuto in musica. One such track is “.” (For four free friends), another is “Fuga nell’Amazzonia in re minore” (Escape in Amazonia in D minor) in which the “hard core” of my musicians jam with me in a free session (I don’t mean free jazz, just free) - I’m on the piano leading with a few structured bits and spur-of-the-moment sequences and the others are following me and improvising with great skill and complicity, proof of what cloud level we were on at the time! The tracks are very varied in style and always performed with great conviction and energy.
