each unit represented is a centuria, 2 centuria -60 to 80 men (30 in case of triarii)- (back and front centuria) form a Manipulum. Here for game’s limits i have only deployed 5 “manipuls“, so if you want to imagine a real legion working, double the number of maniples, and half the size of each one, since here a centuria/unit is made by 160 men, instead than 80/60 (10 men large x 8/6 men deep). So imagine centuriae large as this (i used units large 10 men) but half deep, less “rectangular“ and more square.
