Fur coat remodelling. Location of events unknown, probably London. Various shots of three women looking at their old fur coats in despair. M/S of a woman with Mr A. G. Grubert who remodels the coats, they consult and he draws a sketch of a new coat, she tries on a similar model. M/S of the old coat in the factory, the lining is removed and the fur is put in a revolving drum to get rid of dust and loose hairs. The faded parts are cut away and replaced with new sections. M/S as machinists sew them together. The coat is stretched on nail board ready for tailoring, M/S’s as a man re-dyes the coat by brushing a feather across it.
