CHALLENGER - percussion of battle | HEMA shortfilm

A swordfight to the death shapes the order of this world. The challenger lacks the skill to match the current champion, so a mage conjures an advantage for him into the holy ritual. This is a demonstration that historical swordfighting grounds fantasy. It does not take away from tension, but in fact adds to it.
