Ray Noir - SHOUT (Tears For Fears Cover)

This nostalgic track, ‘Shout’ was originally released as the second single from Tears for Fears’ second studio album, Songs from the Big Chair in 1985. The single reached No. 1 on the US Billboard Hot 100 on August 3rd, 1985, and remained there for three weeks. Roland Orzabal, the lead singer of Tears for Fears’ ‘Shout’ described it as “a simple song about protest“. Noir is carrying this torch on in his own way with the mission to drive awareness of the injustices around the World, particularly for the Trans people movement. This political song is spurred on by Noir’s anger with the world crumbling upon us today. Putting his own spin on the track with shrugging beats and guitars; plus guest vocals by Christo, Noir is challenging us all to ‘take your battles to the fields and demand justice for all!’ Produced by Joe Lyons Guitar: Arno Von Detritus Synths: Joe Lyons Additional Synths: Ays Kura Backing Vocals: Ben Christo Mastering: Joe Farr MGMT: The Oracle Management PR: Priscilla Vento Distribution: The Orchard Camera & Edit: Kassandra Powell Cover Photo: Aaron Heather Graphics: Patricio Santagada 2023 Ray Noir
