International charity Day - Global Solidarity to Eradicate Poverty

The International Day of Charity is an international day observed annually on 5 September. It was declared by the United Nations General Assembly in 2012. Charity can alleviate the worst effects of humanitarian crises, supplement public services in health care, education, housing and child protection. Global Solidarity to Eradicate Poverty Hello everyone, good afternoon. I am Sofonie Dala, we are here in rural communities with the children of these areas to celebrate the International Day of charity, which is celebrated annually on 5 September in the minority of Mother Teresa. Today we suggest actions that aim to solve humanitarian crises, such as climate crises, drought, hunger, poverty, education, among others. These are events that have caused a lot of damage, and the most vulnerable people are the ones who suffer the most from the negative impacts of these disasters. Poverty still plagues us, lack of access to education still plagues us too. So we are here calling everyone to unite and fight all these evils together. We need to end illiteracy, poverty, hunger, climate crises. These children are the future of our nation, they are the leaders of tomorrow. Therefore, we need to instruct them on the path they should follow so that they can solve the problems that we adults are not able to combat at the present time.  These children will be able to provide solutions to the problems that we adults still face, we do not want the future to be even more terrible. We need to educate children so they can combat the world’s most pressing challenges. Long live the 5th of September! Join us here:
