BMW X5 and 5 series (e53) (e39) Radio Screen LCD repair - Part 3 - Reassembly

The BMW E38 7 series, E39 5 series and E53 X5 all have similar problems. The pixels in the cluster and radio fade and die over time, making reading the information displayed on the car very difficult. In this series of videos I’m showing how I replaced the ribbon connector in the MID Radio unit from my 2002 BMW X5 (e53). I believe the 5 series (e39) model has the exact same radio.
