Building a Roundhouse by Hand: Celtic Roundhouse | Bushcraft Camp (PART 7)

We continue using ancient medieval building techniques to build our iron age celtic roundhouse. This time we focus on the interior walls, using the traditional wattle and daub technique. The daub being a mix of clay, straw, ash and water. We mix it together and put it on the wall by hand. With the walls almost complete, the next step will be to reinforce the roof ready for thatching. We then cook handmade pizza over the fire in a dutch oven. Thanks for watching and be sure to subscribe to follow each episod
