With Fast and Furious dropping F9 this weekend, and the crazy amount of undeniably cool cars the Fast Saga has thrown at us over the years, we wanted to dig a little deeper into why we love cars on screen so much. There’s gotta be a reason (or 10) that we respond to movie cars. If it’s Tony Stark and his Audi status symbols or Nomadland and a converted home on wheels, the tricked out weaponry of the Batmobile or a Catbus from Hayao Miyazaki and My Neighbor Totoro, or even a stand in for fragile masculinity like any number of Monster Trucks that have shown up on the big screen, a good movie car become
