Bartok - Mikrokosmos (complete, with score)

Here is my recording made in february/march 2020, of Bela Bartok’s iconic collection Mikrokosmos, written between 1926 and 1939 for his second son, Peter Bartok. As always, there are things that could have been better still, but as a whole I am quite pleased with the result. A word of warning : These are progressive pieces, starting from the most easy beginner’s etudes progressing gradually to dashing concert pieces. The first book is quite boring to be honest, so you may want to skip ahead a bit :) The painting is “Kosmische Flora“ (1917) by Paul Klee.
