China and Singapore pledge to boost Belt and Road construction

For more: China and Singapore have pledged to pursue projects under the Belt and Road Initiative. This outcome followed a meeting on Thursday in Singapore between Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and his counterpart Vivian Balakrishnan. The two sides agreed earlier in April to upgrade bilateral relations to a high-quality, future-oriented partnership. In line with this, China and Singapore will step up connectivity and the resumption of direct flights. They will closely cooperate in economic, trade, cultural and tourism exchanges.
