Felix Blumenfeld - Study for the Left Hand Op. 36 - Joshua Creek

I recorded this work as a tribute to my mother, whom I loved so much, and who inspired me throughout her life. Felix Blumenfeld was a Russian composer and teacher. He wrote this Op. 36 etude in 1905. It creates the impression of a work written for two hands (with the left hand voicing both the melody and harmony) and requires a high level of technical facility to perform. I hope you enjoy it.
