Metal Masters 3 - Hole in the Sky (Geezer Butler) @ The Key Club Sunset

These Metal Masters also acknowledged and honored the memory of guitar masters Dimebag Darrell and Kerry King’s beloved guitar tech Armand Phil Anselmo of Pantera fame and Geezer Butler of Black Sabbath turned up as special guests, joining the previously confirmed likes of Kerry King and Dave Lombardo (of Slayer), Mike Portnoy (ex-Dream Theater), Frank Bello and Charlie Benante (of Anthrax) and David Ellefson and Chris Broderick (of Megadeth.) It was a “Who’s Who“ of metal, that’s for sure. If you were there, you witnessed something authentic. Anselmo performed ’Vulgar Display of Power’ anthems ’A New Level,’ ’Mouth for War,’’Walk,’ and ’Fucking Hostile,’ while the evening closed with a cover of Sabbath’s ’Hole in the Sky,’ featuring Anselmo on vocals and Butler on bass.
