The Hualong-1 is a Chinese Generation III pressurized water #nuclear #reactor jointly developed by the China General Nuclear #Power Group and the China National Nuclear Corporation. The third-generation technology features with both active and passive safety measures to avoid potential accidents like what happened to the 2nd-generation units of the #Fukushima power #plant.
