1954s Hornby model train - abandoned rusty locomotive - restoration

Here is a new video !! This is a model train produced by Hornby / Meccano around 1954. It’s pretty rusted and the clockwork mechanism was completely seized. I didn’t want to disassemble this engine not to damage the mechanism... Thanks to WD40 and also electrolysis baths I brought it to life. The railway car was in very bad shape, almost eaten by the rust... Most of the parts are so thin that I couldn’t do sandblasting... I decided to clean them using electrolytic pickling as usual ;) It has removed the old painting and also the rust !! Please watch till the end to see this abandoned locomotive in action !
