Zinedine Yazid Zidane () played for France from 1992 to 2006, scoring 31 goals in 108 matches. Zidane won the 1998 World Cup, scoring two goals against Brazil in the final, and two years later won the Euro 2000. In 2006, he became the fourth player in World Cup history to score in two different finals, along with Pelé, Paul Breitner, and Vavá.
