Baking normals using Substance and Maya | Catmul Clark, crease sets and exploding the mesh

I’ve added annotations so you can skip to relevant information. A brief tutorial covering Catmul-Clark subdivisions, Creating cages within Maya, Good normal map practices and creating a workflow utilising substance for baking. I would advise people to use the match by mesh name feature built in as it skips the whole exploding process and makes much faster, I have a nice tutorial on this here
