New Bridge Replaces Ferry (1969)

Williams Lake, Canada. GV. Panning shot over Fraser River area with its wooded banks to the township of Williams Lake in Canada. Various shots showing American style caravan car driving onto outdated chain ferry on the Fraser River. Various shots at the cattle ranch on the other side of river and several wooden cottages. Various shots as a 300 ft. long box bridge is slung into position over the river to replace the outdated ferry and people working on the bridge. This bridge was bought and erected by the ranchers.
