“All of Me” was written in 1931, with music by Gerald Marks and lyrics by Seymour Simons. It was introduced by Belle Baker, a popular vaudeville singer who also introduced Berlin’s “Blue Skies.“ This song was originally intended to be performed as a slow torch song but has acquired a livelier tempo over the years.
