Warhammer 40,000 - The Eldar Tribute

This time a tribute for the Eldar, ancient and mysterious race of elf-like humanoids. Once they were the strongest nation in the galaxy, but that was before The Fall. Consumed by arrogance and with no need for substantial work or labour, the Eldar began to pursue any curiosity or desire. Rapidly, cults devoted to exotic knowledge, physical pleasure, and ever-more outrageous entertainment sprang up. It did not take long for many of the Eldar to take a darker path, descending into dark study, instant fulfilment and unbridled violence. Finally, these actions gave the beggining to Slaanesh, Devourer of Souls and doom to the Eldar. Huge area of the Eldar Empire, containing the Eldar Homeworlds, is now known as The Eye of Terror, a massive warp-rift where the warp co-exists with realspace. The only survivors escaped on Craftworlds, gigantic ships so massive to be nearly planetoids. Today most of the Eldar live in these Craftworlds, trying to rebuild their lost power.
