ISSUE | Bangkok International Fashion Week 2024 | VDO BY POPPORY ISSUE presented by GC Designed by Bhubawit Kritpholnara The “SAMSARA” Autumn/Winter 2024 collection from ISSUE Thailand explores the concept of life’s cycle through the Buddhist philosophy of “Paticcasamuppada” (The Law of Dependent Origination). This collection embodies the idea of “Kala” (Time), representing an incarnation of Shiva, and reflects the intricate tapestry of life that encompasses happiness and suffering in harmonious balance.   Additionally, ISSUE has partnered with GC, or PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited, an organization committed to improving quality of life through its petrochemical business by adhering to the principles of a Circular Economy. Together, they have unveiled a limited-edition special collection inspired by the conservation and development of the Bang Krachao area. Using innovation to add value to plastic PET bottle waste, the waste is processed into upcycled fabric. The collection features distinctive designs that highlight the unique identity of Bang Krachao, such as otters and Nipa palm, and various local activities taking place in the area.
