A clip taken from the 1998 Neo Geo game Blazing Star demonstrating the phrase “You Fail it“. As the theory goes, the epic fail/fail/failure meme has its roots from this game. I believe this isn’t the case; my theory is that the meme’s origin roots from the Super Smash Brothers series of games. See
