“WhoCares“ ist ein Musikprojekt von Deep Purple-Frontmann Ian Gillan und Black Sabbath-Gitarrist Tony Iommi und eine Wohltätigkeitsveröffentlichung der Supergruppe WhoCares, die sie mit Hilfe anderer Musiker gegründet hatten, um Geld zu sammeln zum Wiederaufbau einer Musikschule in Gyumri, nach der Zerstörung der Stadt beim Erdbeben 1988 in Armenien. 2011 erschien die Single “Out of My Mind / Holy Water“. Jon Lord starb drei Tage nach der Veröffentlichung des Albums und machte es zu seiner letzten Aufnahme. “WhoCares“ is a music project by Deep Purple frontman Ian Gillan and Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi and a charity release from the super group WhoCares, which they founded with the help of other musicians to raise money to rebuild a music school in Gyumri after the destruction the city at the 1988 earthquake in Armenia. In 2011 the single “Out of My Mind / Holy Water“ was released. The album was released on July 13, 2012 in Europe and on August 28, 2012 in North America. Jon Lord died three days after the release of the album and made it his last recording.
