Anamorphic Test with Film Emulation (Kowa B&H + Helios 44-2 + SLR Magic Rangefinder) UMP 3k Mode

A test of a new anamorphic lens setup. Shot on Ursa Mini Pro 3k anamorphic mode. Projection lens - Kowa B&H Taking lens - Helios 44-2 Single Focus lens - SLR Magic Rangefinder Definitely need a rehousing for this, the alignment shifts too easily without it, as seen in a few shots that skew left/right. Also shooting wide open results in a bit of a soft image. Also we shot on an overcast day around sunset so the available light wasn’t as dynamic as I would’ve liked. Will update with a daylight vid to look at issues like bloom and flaring.
