Baby Seals Christmas at Pelican Point - Happy Holidays from the OCN team!

Our old friend Double Chin is now ready for breeding. We saved his life multiple times, and in a year’s time, we will meet the first generation of his offspring. He has become a gorgeous alpha male and we are grateful we could play a role in his survival. This time of the year, our hands are forced and all we can do is watch and wait. Some of those little cute seals will find themselves in one of our rescue nets soon, and we will be ready for them. We had a very successful rescue season in 2023, and we will try our very hardest to match our numbers in the upcoming rescue year.
