THE SURRENDERING UKROP BOMBED BY HIS OWN PEOPLE ACTUALLY SURVIVED

Continuation of the story from the scouts of the 51st Regiment, 106th Airborne Division “Seeing that he was alive, we brought him a bottle of water and nefopam (a painkiller). He was scared and thought we wanted to throw a grenade at him. After that, we gave him a package containing more water and a note saying that the bottles contained water. He gestured that he needed communication. We found some unused Baofeng radios and established contact with him. We told him that it wasn’t us who tried to kill him, but his ’comrades, and he replied that he understood everything.
