A Chessboard made from Junk Furniture and Scrap Metal

I needed a chessboard fit for a King, or maybe two of them, and Queens, Bishops, etc... The wood is from some old discarded furniture, a mix of walnut and what might be mango wood, but I can’t be sure. The piece of brass is a kick plate from the bottom of an old door.
