HERMANN HESSE’S LONG SUMMER (1997) The documentary, filmed in the vicinity of Montagnola, tells of the creative and life path of the author. Contains many rare photographs, interviews with the publisher and the sons of Hesse. Among other things, the film contains an interesting document from the archives of Arthur Stoll (24:39 - 26:16) showing Hesse in his moments of rest and playing boccia.
