Ever notice how the words someone says might not be what they actually mean? These funky phrases are called “idioms“ and are one of the quickest ways to spice up a conversation. And no one knows more idioms than Mr. Steve! Watch more clips from “Rise and Shine here: Watch the entire broadcast of “Rise and Shine here: About Rise and Shine: A group of all-star Arkansas teachers will share mini-lessons to help kids in kindergarten through 5th grade continue learning between school years. “Rise and Shine” is produced in partnership with the Arkansas Department of Education’s Division of Elementary and Secondary Education. The six-week program will air on Arkansas PBS weekdays beginning Tuesday, July 6, at 8 a.m. and will feature lessons in literacy, math, science and social studies.
