DeJa Vu (Beyonce Cover in Dm)

This cover performance is a collab between myself and Icon Collective College Of Music in Los Angeles, CA. I am an Instructor with the Vocal Artist Program. Chase Jackson on Keys Storytime: Verse 2 was written entirely about my children. ❤️ We were in a 30 day songwriting bootcamp with @rodneyjerkins and I was missing my little ones. One day we went to a mall in Jersey and I swore I saw them! I literally felt like I was losing it! Lol 6 months later the song was placed with Beyoncé and on the radio. The rest is history. Though this wasn’t my first placement, DejaVu was the song that got me to the Grammy’s with several nominations and a win for “B’Day” as Best Contemporary R&B album.
