Has Russia banned LGBTQ people? 🌈💔 Well, their Supreme Court has ruled our community “an extremist organisation”, and defined marriage as only ever “the union between a man and a woman” 😑 But a country’s government doesn’t speak for all of its people. Obviously we think globally when a major power makes a big stance like this but we need to hold in our hearts the queer Russian people around the world who are most affected by this news. But it’s important to acknowledge that a government’s decisions don’t represent the diverse perspectives of all its citizens.
