A unique sounding bootleg, recorded at Wellspring Sound, Concord, MA., 18th/19th July 1997. I assume the aim of this session was to create an ’Eastern’ style or feel, which they perfectly captured here. There’s not much I can put about this, due to information about this session being quite unknown. I personally think the first two tracks are the best out of these two sessions. All of these sessions revolve around a drone, of typically an Indian/Eastern style, where all musicians seem to jam and come up with an improvised progression through the entire track. A definite highlight is Shawn Lane, who creates some beautiful phrases with an acoustic guitar, honing in on his Indian influences, much alike to his ventures with Jonas Hellborg.
