Lilah my Pet Opossum

Just a little video showing my sweet, fluffy, and FAT Lilah girl. She a CHONK! She is a Virginia Opossum that was unable to be released back into the wild and is now a loveable pet. Her eyes are a result of obesity, and she came into my care this way. I got her as an adult already a chunky butt and put her on a diet. READ HER STORY BELOW! LILAH’S STORY: Lilah was raised in another home before me from a baby that fed her the wrong diet, resulting in obesity. Her eyes look like that from fat deposits behind her eyes, giving her that “cartoony“ appearance. It is a health issue. I got her when she was a little over a year old (I’m a wildlife rehabber) but she couldn’t be released back into the wild for obvious reasons (health and imprinted on humans) so she became a pet and an ambassador for her kind to help educate people about the extremely misunderstood opossum!
