John Deere 7530 & 4955 Power Harrowing.

This video features 2 John Deers and Kuhn Power Harrows working at Goole Hall Farm in East Yorkshire, England. The 7530 & 4955 are owned by T D Platt and are working down the remnants of pea stubble ready for drilling a winter wheat crop later on. The peas were harvested at night during the heaviest rain storm this area had seen for weeks so the timing of the harvest was about as bad as it could have been. The pea viners left deep ruts on the headlands which are very unusual to see on this type of land. So the MF 8735 & the Watkins Try-Till did a good job in levelling the field surface and lifting the compacted soil before these 2 John Deers started to power harrow for the final pass. The following crop of wheat looked really well so it did a good job.
