This has been requested for months, it’s time for: Music Producer Reacts to Smell Of The Game from the Guilty Gear Strive OST (. the song that was used in the Guilty Gear 2020 Trailer). This was the first time I ever listened to any of the music from this game, here’s what I thought about it, from the perspective of a Music Composer & Producer. A fun trivia is that Guilty Gear was created by the composer of the game himself, Daisuke Ishiwatari! My hunch is that he created the game as an excuse to write the soundtrack he always dreamt of hearing, and ended up creating a cult classic, it seems.
