SoCal: It’ll be sunny on Monday with highs in the 70s and 80s from the beaches to downtown LA and 80s into the 90s in the valleys. Another warm up begins on Wednesday. Monday will be another day below the average temperature for this time of year in Northern California, but the “cooler temperatures“ won’t last for long. Meteorologist Tamara Berg said the forecast high for downtown Sacramento will be 89 degrees, roughly about the same high as Sunday. The average for this time of year is 95 Fire: Crews start to slow down California wildfire. The Park Fire, which started less than a week ago on July 24, has already become the state’s sixth-largest wildfire in its recorded history.
