I’ve been talking about putting something together for Chris from Florida for nearly 4 years now. he had to be in Denver for a thing and I talked him into coming to see me for the day. he got to put one of my old devices on and feel what it was like to have fingers again. while he was here I scanned his residual limb, cast his palm in silicone, and used my FLsun T1 Pro to print the model. here are my thoughts on the machine. It was super cool to hang out with Chris for the day, I’m so glad that everything worked out. I used SMC KQ2H04-M5A quick release fittings to make the coupler at the extruder and to hold the ptfe tubing at the top.
