Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet

After their wildly well-received 2009 Festival debut, Cedar Lake returns to Charleston with a program of work showcasing the dancers’ versatility and verve. Among the works to be performed are Violet Kid, a carefully calibrated explosion of energy and physicality from Hofesh Schechter, one of the UK’s most exciting young choreographers; and Annonciation, a lush duet from the celebrated French dance maker Angelin Preljocaj.
