Stalker 2 Heart of Chernobyl - Still impressive graphics? | E3 Gameplay Trailer vs. Original

When Stalker Shadow of Chernobyl was released in 2007 it was praised for it’s graphical finesse, dense atmosphere and technical features, such as volumetric lighting, dense ground clutter and photo-textures. Few PCs would run the game smoothly back in the day and with the release of the sequels Clear Sky and Call of Pripyat, the graphics got even slightly upgraded. At E3 2021, GSC Games showed us first gameplay of their new game Stalker 2: Heart of Chernobyl and it looks truely terrific. But how does it hold up against the original games, which still look OK by todays standarts, and will Stalker 2 be the graphical milesone, the first game was back in the day?
