I’m really happy with how this turned out, both video and audio. I hope you enjoy it as well. This was a slow burn. I recorded the vocals back in February, 2021, and the whole project just sort of sat there for a year, until we dusted it off and finished it. Thanks to Mary Ann Fryar for being such a big supporter during the “only live streams“ days. This song is always one of her requests. I had the pleasure of meeting her after my Charlotte show last year. Very sweet soul. Thank you, Mary Ann. I wish you every happiness. And a special thanks to Tom Lopshire. He financed this video shoot. We did it on a tight budget, but still, his support is very appreciated. Tom has also been a hero, helping support my family with regular commissions, where he would give me a list of songs, I would pick one, and he’d pay me $500 to learn it and perform it on a live stream.
