KSP - Project Orion Crewed Mars Mission

Project Orion was a program which aimed to develop an engine for interplanetary (or even interstellar) spacecraft which used miniature nuclear bombs to generate thrust. Development stopped after the Partial Test Ban Treaty, which banned nuclear detonations in the atmosphere, underwater, and in space. (nuclear_propulsion) Main mods are Bluedog Design Bureau, Shuttle Orbiter Construction Kit, Photon Corp, Stockish Project Orion / Roverdude’s Orion mod, Tweakscale/AllTweak and Conformal Decals for parts.
