Does having a HIGH DPI make you a better gamer?

I was a huge fan of Overwatch 1 and played it a ton, however over the last few years I haven’t played much. However since the release of Overwatch 2 I have found myself enjoying the game again and am back at trying to become a good Widow Maker player. Recently I read that increasing your DPI can lower input latency and improve aim in FPS games. I don’t know if this is true but I intend to find out, I played a few games at my normal 800 DPI setting and then a few more at 8000 DPI to see if I could notice a difference. My Twitch Cameras used.
