Five months in the making, and I’m incredibly proud of the final result. This project, a rendition of Megadeth’s ’Holy Wars’ in the style of Metallica’s ’And Justice For All’, is perhaps the best-mixed and mastered work I’ve ever created to date. During the process, I explored new techniques, departing from heavy EQ matching that I’d used in previous ’What If’ projects. The outcome is a track, I feel, that’s fresh and unique in its own way.
